Aikevanstien.JPG In a historical little building on West Terschelling, the fishing museum "of Aike Stien" established. Grandchildren of the Aike Stien (see photo) have created this museum to commemorate their ancestors, all of which were employed in fishing.

A variety of systems and artefacts, where in the period 1850-1950 several kinds of fish, shellfish caught them. Photographs illustrate the whole.

There are several temporary and permanent exhibitions, including the seal hunt, slipway of "Hair" and information on splitting and knots.
